After struggling to find trustworthy childcare for my first child, I recognized the need for a safe, nurturing space in the community — so I decided to create it myself. Driven by my love for children, education, and creating eco-friendly spaces, I’m committed to providing a warm, supportive environment where children can learn and thrive.

Philosophy

Our program is all about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children thrive. We focus on hands-on learning, social-emotional growth, and developmentally appropriate activities to prepare children for success. With small group sizes, personalized attention, and a structured yet flexible curriculum, we ensure every child feels valued and supported.

Location

Our childcare program is located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood in Silver Spring, MD (20904). We are conveniently situated near schools, parks, and major roads, making drop-offs and pick-ups easy for families. Our home-based setting provides a warm and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow in a secure space.

About our program

Welcome to Kuku’s Cozy Nest Childcare, a warm and nurturing early learning environment located in Silver Spring. As a Maryland EXCELS Level 4 provider, I am committed to maintaining a high standard of care that prioritizes safety, learning, and eco-friendly practices. Our no-plastic policy ensures a healthier space for your child to learn and play, fostering a clean and sustainable environment.

Our program operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, offering a full day of engaging activities designed to promote cognitive and physical development. We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks, ensuring that every child is well-fed and ready to thrive.

At Kuku’s Cozy Nest, we focus on hands-on learning experiences that encourage children to think, explore, and grow. Our supportive atmosphere fosters confidence, creativity, and essential life skills, helping every child blossom to their fullest potential.

Come see what makes kuku’s Cozy Nest Childcare unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
