Ken Smith-Director of Education- Masters of Education Teacher/Principal from Towson State with over 30 years of experience serving families in Baltimore. Our experienced staff prepare children for fun learning experiences, socialization and longterm school success. In 2000, Ken realized her dream of having her own in home childcare program. After the birth of her son in 2014 she decided to open the centers. Two years later Kids Edu Caring Place was born which is a dream come true. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children and families. She believes that small class sizes and the development of a strong community allows her and her team to really inpact change and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years. This is the happy kid place!
Philosophy
At Kids Edu Caring Place, we instill the love of learning in our children through multidimensional, fun learning and educational practices. We empower our children with daily life skills, ancestral and cultural, community, STEAM and thrive knowledge.
Location
We are tucked in this Northeast Baltimore community Govans in a park like setting. We have 2 playgrounds available spread over 1/4 acre of lane. There are single family homes and townhouse in our quiet community. Kids can run, play and explore nature in our fence play yards. We arw in the heart of the city but feels like the suburbs because of all of the green space.
