At Care and Nurture Kiddie Korner, our team brings a strong foundation of education, real-world experience, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Sherri Romain, Owner and Provider, has over 20 years of experience in the medical field, bringing a high level of safety, attention to detail, and care into the childcare environment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a licensed substitute teacher, with a Master’s degree in Psychology. Her background allows her to support children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs in a nurturing and structured way. Rene Romain, Co-Provider, is a U.S. Army veteran with a strong leadership background and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Being raised in a Haitian household, she is also fluent in Haitian Creole, helping us provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for diverse families. Together, we are both certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens, ensuring a safe and prepared environment for all children. Our program combines education, structure, cultural diversity, and nurturing care to support each child’s growth, learning, and overall well-being.

Complete our General Interest Application to provide basic information about your child and care needs.

This allows us to: ✔ Check availability ✔ Understand your schedule ✔ Contact you for next steps

📞 3. Initial Contact

After reviewing your application, we will contact you to:

• Discuss your childcare needs
• Answer any questions
• Confirm availability

🏡 4. Schedule a Tour (Recommended)

Families are encouraged to schedule a tour to:

• See the environment
• Meet the provider
• Learn more about daily routines

📝 5. Complete Enrollment Forms

If a spot is available and you choose to move forward, you will be asked to complete required forms through Brightwheel, including:

• Enrollment paperwork
• Emergency contacts
• Policy acknowledgments
• Medical and authorization forms

📄 6. Submit Required Documents

Before your child’s first day, all required documents must be submitted, such as:

• Immunization records
• Birth certificate
• Any applicable CCDF documentation

Enrollment is confirmed once: ✔ All forms are completed ✔ Required documents are received ✔ Payment arrangements are set

We will work with you to ensure a smooth transition for your child’s first day, including discussing routines, schedules, and any special needs.
