At Care and Nurture Kiddie Korner, our team brings a strong foundation of education, real-world experience, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Sherri Romain, Owner and Provider, has over 20 years of experience in the medical field, bringing a high level of safety, attention to detail, and care into the childcare environment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a licensed substitute teacher, with a Master’s degree in Psychology (completion expected soon). Her background allows her to support children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs in a nurturing and structured way.

Rene Romain, Co-Provider, is a U.S. Army veteran with a strong leadership background and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She is also fluent in Haitian Creole, helping us provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for diverse families.

Together, we are both certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens, ensuring a safe and prepared environment for all children.

Our program combines education, structure, cultural diversity, and nurturing care to support each child’s growth, learning, and overall well-being.

We focus on learning through play, creativity, and real-life experiences, allowing children to explore and grow at their own pace.

We value safety, consistency, and open communication with families, creating a partnership that supports each child both at home and in care. With our backgrounds in psychology, education, and healthcare, we are committed to supporting children’s emotional well-being, behavior, and overall development.

We also take pride in offering a diverse and inclusive environment, including support for Haitian Creole-speaking families, where every child feels welcomed, respected, and cared for.
