Hello! I am Christine Wickham, the founder of Christine’s Kiddio Academy @ Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 16 years of experience working with young children.

Philosophy

At Christine’s Kiddio Academy, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

Location

Christine’s Kiddio Academy @ Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming townhouse in the Ives estates neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.
