Hello! I am Lucia Navarro, the founder of Sonrisas Family Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I love working with kids and I think it is important to give them a safe and loving place to grow. I love adapting to the needs of individual children to make sure they are receiving the kind of care they need. Children are so intelligent and I learn a lot from spending time with them. I enjoy watching their creativity and encourage them to try new ideas and learn from their experience. If the kids in my program are happy, I am happy!

¡Hola! Soy Lucia Navarro, la fundadora de Sonrisas Family Wonderschool. Me inspiró para comenzar mi propio programa porque me encanta trabajar con niños y creo que es importante brindarles un lugar seguro y amoroso para crecer. Me encanta adaptarme a las necesidades de cada niño para asegurarme de que reciban el tipo de atención que necesitan. Los niños son muy inteligentes y aprendo mucho al pasar tiempo con ellos. Disfruto viendo su creatividad y los aliento a probar nuevas ideas y aprender de su experiencia. Si los niños de mi programa están contentos, ¡estoy feliz!

Philosophy

At Sonrisas Family Wonderschool, we want children to learn to explore their interests and form their own identity! We want our kids to be generous, kind, respectful and good friends.

Location

Sonrisas Family Wonderschool is located in a warm, welcoming single-family home in the East Whittier neighborhood. We are located a few minutes away from Biola University. Our space has a large backyard patio with orange trees and plenty of space for kids to run and play. We also have a covered outdoor patio area for art activities and games. We occasionally take a walk around the neighborhood as well. At Sonrisas Family Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that allows children to explore their interests.

Sonrisas Family Wonderschool se encuentra en una casa en el area de East Whittier. Estamos ubicados a pocos minutos de la Universidad de Biola. Nuestro espacio tiene un gran patio con naranjos y mucho espacio para que los niños corran y jueguen. También tenemos un patio cubierto al aire libre para actividades artísticas y juegos. Ocasionalmente también damos un paseo por el area. En Sonrisas Family Wonderschool, quiero crear un ambiente que permita a los niños explorar sus intereses.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Sonrisas Family Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
