Our Teachers
Hello! I am Kimmie Banuelos, the founder of Kimmie’s Kids Wonderschool. As a parent it was very important to me be able to stay home and provide care for my own child, and this inspired me to start my own childcare program. I have 19 years of experience working with young children in a variety of setting including raising my oldest children as well as being involved in various sport coaching and classroom volunteering.

Philosophy
At Kimmie’s Kids Wondershool, our philosophy incorporates learning through a play based approach, as well as emotional development through social interactions. We love to stay active through field trips and going outside every day, and children learn important social skills in our program that will help them develop as an adult later on.
Location
Kimmie’s Kids Wonderschool is located in a warm, welcoming condominium in the Candlewood Estate neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
At Kimmie’s Kids Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.
