Our Teachers
Hello! I am Rosalba Quintero, the founder of Rosalba’s Little Sunflowers Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 6 years of experience working with young children. Before opening up my own childcare, I worked at a preschool. I have taken 17 units focused specifically on early childhood education. I have a real passion for working with children and love everyday that I get to help kids grow to their full potential!

Philosophy
At Rosalba’s Little Sunflowers our philosophy is based around love, respect, kindness and guidance. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials, including dramatic play, manipulatives, reading and dancing! We are a Spanish Bi-lingual program and will teach the children in both English and Spanish. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.
Location
Rosalba’s Little Sunflowers Wonderschool is located in a warm, spacious single family home in South San Francisco. We are conveniently located right by Alta Loma Middle School and a cross drive from the 280 highway. And a few minutes from Serramonte shopping Mall.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
At Rosalba’s Little Sunflowers Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.
