Our Teachers

I’m Ally, the proud owner, and caregiver at Santa Clara Joy Family Day Care.At our cozy bilingual home daycare, we provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children to learn, grow, and play in both English and Mandarin. With over 16 years of experience in early childhood education, I am passionate about fostering the development and well-being of each child in my care. Our program offers a blend of structured activities, creative play, and social interaction, tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of every child. Whether it’s through songs, stories, or games, we aim to help children develop fluency and appreciation for both languages. Safety, love, and fun are at the heart of everything we do here at Santa Clara Joy Family Day Care. We look forward to welcoming your little ones into our warm and loving bilingual community!”

Testimonials

My daughter attended Alia’s home daycare for over 3 years starting at 5 months old. The daycare is clean and they teach clean hygiene habits with the kids such as washing hands when they get in. There is a daily report summary (nap, food, diaper as needed) which I found to be helpful. Starting at 2 years old my daughter brought home her daily worksheet which she was proud of doing. My daughter was well cared for, and my husband and I fully trust Alia and her team. When my daughter was a baby, it was the staff who discovered that my daughter only liked to drink warm milk and stopped drinking when it became lukewarm. My daughter ate better at daycare than at home! She enjoyed being at her daycare and playing with her peers. She often sings songs at home that she learned at daycare. We highly recommend this daycare.

Philosophy

At Santa Clara Joy Family Day Care, we believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can flourish emotionally, socially, cognitively, and linguistically. Our program is built upon the following core values:

Child-Centered Approach: We prioritize each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning styles. Our curriculum is flexible and adaptable, allowing us to tailor activities to meet the unique developmental stages and personalities of every child in our care.

Holistic Development: We recognize the importance of fostering growth in all areas of development. Through a balanced blend of structured learning activities, free play, and social interaction, we support children in developing their cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and linguistic skills.

Bilingual Education: We are committed to providing a rich bilingual environment where children have the opportunity to develop proficiency and fluency in both English and Mandarin. Our bilingual approach not only enhances language skills but also promotes cultural awareness and appreciation.

Play-Based Learning: We believe that play is the cornerstone of childhood. Our program emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning through play, exploration, and discovery. Play allows children to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and social competence in a natural and enjoyable way.

Safety and Well-being: The safety and well-being of every child are our top priorities. We maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment, and our staff members are trained in CPR, first aid, and child safety protocols. We strive to create a warm and loving atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and respected.

Partnership with Parents: We view parents as partners in their child’s education and care. We maintain open and transparent communication with families, sharing insights, updates, and milestones regularly. We encourage parent involvement and collaboration to ensure continuity between home and daycare experiences.

Overall, our goal at Santa Clara Joy Family Day Careis to provide a nurturing, enriching, and bilingual environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. We are dedicated to instilling a love for learning, fostering cultural appreciation, and nurturing the unique talents and abilities of each child in our care.
