Simply Adorable family daycare is located in a spacious, bright single family home in the Inner Richmond neighborhood. We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving). Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both local parks and playgrounds. Children need space to run, jump, and move! Simply Adorable, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.
Philosophy
At Simply Adorable family daycare, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished. Our program encourages activities to be child-led. This allows each child to get a better understanding of themselves and how to interact with the world around them. Each child will feel supported and as if they are at home. When students feel comfortable they are able to thrive and grow. We believe in giving students opportunities to learn and develop. We have circle time every morning to build a sense of community. We also understand the importance of project-based learning which is different variations of arts and crafts.
