Our Teachers

As someone who has been working with children for the past 9 years, I have had the pleasure of experiencing the joys and challenges of being a nanny and childcare provider. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep passion for helping children with their emotional development, and have found immense fulfillment in working with families to accommodate their Childs needs.

One of the things I enjoy most about working with students is being able to witness their growth and development over time. It’s incredibly rewarding to see a child who was once shy and reserved become more outgoing and confident as they develop their social skills. As a childcare provider, I am able to help facilitate this growth by creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves in healthy and positive ways.

Another aspect of my work that I find particularly rewarding is working with families to accommodate their Childs needs. Every child is unique and requires an individualized approach to their care and education. By working closely with families to understand their Childs needs and preferences, I am able to tailor my approach to ensure that each child receives the personalized care and attention they need to thrive.

Ultimately, my goal as a childcare provider is to prepare students to transition into kindergarten confidently. I believe that this requires a holistic approach to education that focuses not just on academic skills, but on emotional and social development as well. By helping children develop the tools they need to navigate their emotions and relationships with others, I hope to instill in them a sense of confidence and resilience that will serve them well throughout their lives.

In fact, my love for working with children has led me to open my own childcare program, where I am able to put my passion and experience to work every day. As I continue to work with children and families, I am constantly inspired by the resilience and curiosity of the young minds in my care, and am grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in helping them reach their full potential.

Philosophy

As a childcare provider in a play-based bilingual program, my philosophy is centered around creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. I believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences, and I strive to provide ample opportunities for them to do so.

In my program, I prioritize the individual needs and interests of each child, and I work to create a curriculum that is flexible and adaptable to meet their unique needs. I believe that all children have the potential to thrive and succeed, and I am committed to providing them with the support and guidance they need to reach their full potential.

As a bilingual program, I place a strong emphasis on language development and cultural competency. I believe that learning a second language at a young age can have numerous benefits for children, including improved cognitive development and increased cultural awareness. I strive to create a bilingual environment where children can learn and practice both languages in a fun and engaging way.

Above all, I am committed to fostering a sense of joy and wonder in the children I care for. I believe that childhood should be a time of exploration, discovery, and imagination, and I work to create a program that reflects these values. By providing a safe and supportive space for children to learn and grow, I hope to help them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.

Location

I am thrilled to say that my family childcare has been located here in the Excelsior area since 2020. As a childcare provider, I know how important it is for children to feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings, and our location offers just that.

One of the unique features of our childcare location is our large backyard. We have a structure in the yard where kids can run around and play to their heart’s content. This outdoor space is not only a fun place for children to play, but it also offers them an opportunity to get some fresh air and exercise, which is crucial for their development.

Our space is both a home and a shared space for the children. We have created a warm and welcoming environment that is designed to make our students feel at home. We want every child who comes to our childcare to feel like they are part of our family. We have dedicated areas for activities, including reading, playing with toys, and arts and crafts.

As a childcare provider, I know that the environment plays a crucial role in a child’s development. That is why we have taken great care in designing our space to be both safe and inviting for our students. We want every child who comes to our childcare to feel comfortable and happy, and we believe that our location in the Excelsior area offers just that.

About our program

At our Family Childcare, we understand that transitioning into kindergarten can be a big and often daunting step for both children and their families. That’s why we work collaboratively with families to help their child develop social skills and confidence through various activities that promote healthy social interactions. We believe that every child is unique, and we strive to create a nurturing environment where they can feel safe to be themselves.

As part of our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, we offer a healthy and nutritious breakfast and lunch each day. We take pride in creating menus that are both delicious and balanced, and we make sure to share this information with families so they can feel informed about their child’s nutrition each day.

Additionally, we believe in the importance of helping children develop individual values that will help them navigate the world around them. We work with families to help each student develop their own unique values, allowing them to feel confident in being themselves and exploring their own individuality.

At our Family Childcare, we’re dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes growth, learning, and confidence in each child. Thank you for considering our center for your child’s early education and development journey. We look forward to partnering with you!
