Our Teachers

Jennifer and Noah are passionate about creating a warm, Christ-centered environment where children feel loved, valued, and encouraged to grow. Together, they believe that strong relationships with children and families, small group care, and learning through play provide the best foundation for early childhood.

Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in Linguistics with an emphasis in Speech-Language Sciences and Disorders and Chinese from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has also completed extensive coursework in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children began while growing up alongside her mother’s family daycare and continued through her experience as a preschool teacher, university childcare teaching assistant, and Mandarin bilingual volunteer in a dual language program. She is dedicated to helping young children develop a love for learning and language during the critical early years.

Noah grew up in a Chinese-English bilingual home, where he developed a deep appreciation for language, culture, and community. His experience serving as a summer camp counselor, participating in children’s ministry, and serving on mission trips inspired his passion for mentoring children through active play, sports, outdoor exploration, and hands-on learning. Together, Jennifer and Noah are committed to partnering with families to provide a loving bilingual environment where children grow in faith, kindness, confidence, and curiosity while building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Philosophy

At Bobo Daycare, we believe that every child is uniquely created by God and deserves to be loved, encouraged, and celebrated. We provide a warm, home-based environment where children feel safe to explore, create, and grow at their own pace. Through play-based learning, bilingual immersion in Mandarin/Cantonese and English, and meaningful relationships, we nurture each child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development.

We believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences, curiosity, and joyful play. Our curriculum incorporates music, art, stories, outdoor exploration, gardening, and cultural activities that inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. With small group sizes, we are able to build strong relationships with each child and partner closely with families to support their growth.

Our goal is to plant seeds of faith, kindness, empathy, and resilience, helping children develop strong character while building the skills they need to thrive in school and in life.

Location

Bobo Daycare is conveniently located in San Francisco’s vibrant Inner Richmond neighborhood near Clement Street and 12th Avenue. Our family-friendly community is known for its diverse culture, walkable streets, neighborhood charm, and easy access to beautiful parks. We regularly explore nearby green spaces, including Golden Gate Park and Mountain Lake Park, giving children opportunities to enjoy nature, outdoor play, and hands-on learning. With numerous Muni bus lines nearby and the walkable Clement Street corridor, our location offers both accessibility and a welcoming neighborhood feel. The Inner Richmond is cherished for its strong sense of community, cultural diversity, and proximity to parks, making it an ideal place for young children to learn, play, and grow.
