Milagros Monzon, Director

As a dedicated preschool teacher with extensive experience in the early childhood field. She obtained a certificate in early childhood education from City College of San Francisco, It has always hers and her sister dream to run their own in-home childcare, where they can create a warm and nurturing environment for children. They believe that small class sizes and the development of a strong community are essential in allowing them to know each child as an individual. By focusing on their unique needs and strengths, They strive to provide a solid and supportive foundation during these important early years, setting the stage for a bright and successful future.

Philosophy

Brilliant Day Child Care, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing and safe environment that fosters growth, creativity, and curiosity. We believe children are capable, innately curious and can express themselves and learn in diverse ways.

Our program is designed to provide high-quality care in a safe, nurturing and enriching home- based environment where every child is valued as an active participant in their own learning journey, fostering active learning, promoting creativity, developing social skills, and nurturing problem-solving abilities allowing children to explore their interests and develop a love for learning. Our Values We recognize that children are naturally curious and have the right to explore, investigate, and inquire. We prioritize strong relationships with children, families, and the community. Our bilingual approach, offering both English and Spanish, fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion, supporting communication and understanding among diverse families. Our daycare space is thoughtfully designed to be inviting and stimulating, inspiring creativity and exploration. We create areas that encourage collaboration, play, and hands-on learning, allowing children to engage with materials that spark their imagination. We believe in the importance of observing and documenting children’s experiences and learning processes. We encourage independence and decision-making in children by providing opportunities for them to choose activities and engage in projects that reflect their interests.

Location

We are located in San Bruno, on one way street in a single family home, With easy access to transit. We are a few blocks away from Downtown San Bruno. We are just steps to San Bruno Caltrain and Bart station.

At Brilliant Day Child Care, our dedicated team creates a warm and supportive atmosphere where children thrive. Our program is designed to immerse both language English and Spanish, throughout daily routines, including during playtime, mealtimes, conversations and structured activities, exposing children to the language naturally. Through exciting hands-on experiences, we spark creativity and curiosity, fostering growth and independence in each child. Our focus on early learning sets the foundation for a bright future.

2. Tour our program Come see what makes Brilliant Day Child Care unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
3. Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting “Apply to enroll”. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. * Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
