Distance Learning at Base One

Our Teachers

My name is Michael Gomez and I’m thrilled to be launching this program at Base One! I have nearly six years of youth program management experience and over a decade in public and private education, including classroom management and teaching. I’m passionate about working with youth and families and look forward to helping create a safe and exciting program for the community.

Philosophy

At Base One, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of learning. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished while being challenged to think outside of the box.

Location

Base One is located in a bright, spacious facility in the Land Park neighborhood.

We’ve designed a state-of-the-art tech-enabled distance learning environment that allows students to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests, including personal learning stations equipped with custom computers built just for Base One students.

About our program

In addition to creating an environment built to support successful distance learning, we believe that access to culturally-relevant technology education is the most important aspect of the Base One experience. At Base One, not only do students have a place they can focus on their school work and stay up to speed during the pandemic, they also get access to premium coding education and mentorship, as well as state-of-art video gaming equipment they can use after school!

Ready to join a distance learning program at Base One? Here’s all you need to do in three easy steps:

1. Schedule a tour of Base One or reach out for more information.

2. Submit an enrollment application to join one of our distance learning programs.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/distance-learning-at-base-one-5945/apply 9.

3. Accept you enrollment invitation and review our Parent Handbook.

After reviewing your application, if accepted, we’ll send you an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation, you’ll pay your enrollment fee based on the program you select, fill out enrollment documents, and review our Parent Handbook.
