Hello! I am Hana Tan, the founder of Golden Star Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 22 years of experience working with young children.
Philosophy
At Golden Star Wonderschool, we believe childcare should be an extension of the child’s home. We open our doors to all children and families that need a more intimate setting with low-student ratios. We feel young children, shine brightest when school is like a second home
Location
Golden Star Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, charming house in Orange County neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.
At Golden Star Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.
