Adryana Roman’s love of caring for children started at a young age. Before completing high school, she volunteered to work in a non-profit center in her native Caracas, Venezuela. There, she worked with children with all kinds of backgrounds and needs, mostly helping in kindergarten and first grade. After high school, Adryana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, while also working as a paraprofessional.
After moving to the United States, Adryana found her true passion in the teaching field. In 2013, she began working in a licensed center in Arizona with Kinder-prep children. In 2015, she became the lead preschool teacher for a nonprofit organization. Later in 2016, she obtained her Child Development Associate Credential for preschool age.

Testimonials
“Ms. Roman’s enthusiasm and love for her students makes me smile each time I drop my daughter off at school. I feel comforted knowing Ms. Roman truly cares about my child - she always makes a point to provide feedback at the end of every day and bridge concepts we review at home into her school day.
Her curriculum not only prepares your child academically for kindergarten, but also focuses on strengthening social and interpersonal skills. She makes each child feel important and she works with each parent to ensure your child is growing into a confident, caring, and inquisitive person. We feel very lucky to have Ms. Roman in our lives.” - Nicole L.
“Ms. Roman has been our daughter’s teacher at her preschool and she has been amazing! During her time with Ms. Roman, not only did our daughter (now 4.5) learn social and developmentally appropriate interactions and interpersonal skills, but she has grown academically beyond our expectations.
Not to mention, Ms. Roman is also full of love! She gives every child personal attention, care, and ensures that each individual is valued and feels safe at school. Great teaching, consistent practice, and reinforcement of skills necessary for our 4 year old to be ready for TK this coming year have been highlights.
As an elementary school Principal, I have no doubt that Ms. Roman’s teaching has been above and beyond in setting our daughter on the right path for a successful education.” - Matt B.

Philosophy
At Little Aprendiz, our mission is to provide quality child care. We are committed to safety and to the healthy physical, mental, and emotional development of each child.
Through daily activities, we encourage children to discover what they are capable of doing for themselves so that they can feel proud of their achievements. We know that children learn through observation. They repeat everything they see and hear! For this reason, we model values such as respect for one another, love for oneself, and emotional growth.
We believe that a caring, loving environment where children feel safe, valued, and understood can make an impact not only on one child but also on society and in the world as a whole.
Location
Little Aprendiz is located in a single family home in a quiet neighborhood in Huntington Beach.
The school’s warm and inviting environment is divided into two rooms: the main room is where all the fun and learning happens. Here, children can explore different activities such as the sensory table, art, science, math, manipulatives, dancing, building, writing, or relaxing while reading a book in Spanish. The second room is where children keep their personal belongings.
The outdoor area is designed for children to continue the indoor learning process and develop strength in their large muscles. At Little Aprendiz, gardening is an important part of our curriculum because we believe that there is no such thing as “too young” to learn how to cultivate.
About our program
Our school is set up for success. From the moment children arrive, they feel empowered and capable of anything. Our environment invites children to participate in all kinds of activities; each activity has a purpose for their developmental growth.
Our space incorporates multiple “centers”. Each center focuses on an aspect of child development.
At the art center, children experiment with conventional and non-conventional materials to express and expand their creativity. At the writing center, they have a journal to write about their experiences.
At the science, math, and manipulative center, they strengthen small muscles and counting skills. At the reading center, they grow their love for books and stories. Lastly, at the block center, children create or recreate the most amazing buildings around the world.
We take our time to work one-on-one with each child, making sure we can provide the best care possible.
