Testimonials

“Highly recommend! They strictly adhere to Covid-19 safety guidelines. Alma is a joy and so very kind to our 2 year old daughter, who can’t wait until her next day at daycare. She is currently attending and has been there since November 2019. You can feel safe knowing your child is in good hands here! Plus, they speak bilingual in English and Spanish so your kid gets to learn a new language early which is highly beneficial. Can’t say enough how great it is there! Check it out! “-Mack L.

“A to Z Learning Korner is simply amazing! We enrolled our 2yr old son here and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.  The facilities are perfect for nurturing the children, no matter the age, and the schedule/curriculum is designed to both entertain and educate.  But what stands out is the love and care that Ms Alma and her staff show toward the children.  Their devotion is evident.  We were worried that our son (who was cared for at home by family since birth) would not acclimate or take a long time to get comfortable at a daycare facility, but within a week he was smiling and waving bye to us when we dropped him off.  A to Z Learning was a great decision for our family! “-Bryon L.

“For our first child(over cautious parent) it could not more difficult to find good daycare but we feel so fortunate to find A to Z Learning Korner.  My daughter started there at 5 months and currently staying there. She is a happy, and social little girl – I am so proud of her development while in the care of Miss Alma, Miss Cecilia and Miss Patty. They truly love and treat the children like they are their own. They do the cutest projects with the children, they teach them songs in English and Spanish, they give them books to read in daycare and also for home , take them to backyard for playing, and many other things that are wonderful for the kids and their physical and emotional development .

Their communication with parents is also excellent. I always appreciated knowing what was happening and their constant care and updates regarding my daughter . I recommend them wholeheartedly and I encourage anyone looking for quality childcare ( clean and organized ) for your little one to check them out.”-Vivek S.

“Alma and the team at A to Z Learning Korner are amazing. My oldest went there until we moved out of state, for about 2 years. He was only 5 months old when he first started daycare there. Alma was so sweet to me as a first time mom, and she soothed all my concerns with taking my baby to school. He really thrived in this environment throughout our time enrolled. Now that we have moved, he still talks about the teachers and his friends. He was so happy there. I’m so grateful for our experience with A to Z Learning Korner.”-Rebecca W.

“ We enrolled my 1.5 year old in A to Z Learning Korner after I went back to work. I had stayed home with her for the first 18 months and to say I was nervous about starting her in daycare was an understatement. However, she quickly adjusted and loved going each day. Ms. Alma and Ms. Perla are so caring, warm, and loving toward all the children in their care. The facility is clean and inviting and Ms. Alma provides healthy meals and snacks every day. I couldn’t ask for a better environment for my daughter. I was sad when we moved out of the area and we had to pull her out. We miss you Alma! “-Tasha S.

Philosophy

A to Z learning Korner offers a safe, nurturing environment where your child will get the attention he/she/they need. Our educational program and schedule is based on “SEEDS” - a professional developed curriculum of literacy; based on the latest research in reading, and creating a core foundation before children enter school. A to Z is qualified by “ Quality matters” - a community partnership focused on increasing the quality of licensed early learning programs. We are privileged to be rated a Level 4 our of 5.

At A to Z Learning Korner , we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child feel confident and capable to be an independent individual. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas, learning opportunities as well as age appropriate challenges.

Location

A to Z Learning Korner is located in a welcoming, cozy single family home in the Cupertino neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests and letting them learn at their own pace. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts). We also have writing, art, science, circle and pretense areas.

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

At A to Z Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.
