Our Teachers

Hello! I am Ramona Jimenez, the founder of Jimenez Family Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community.

Achievements

Experience with infants and toddlers
Experience with preschool age
Experience with school age

Philosophy

My goal is to help children with their needs, preparing for their first day of school with creative activities and quality care in a home environment. I will implement a pre-school and educational program for infants and young children in which they can participate throughout the year.

Location

Jimenez Family Wonderschool is located in a warm, inviting single family home in the Cudahy neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), and dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Jimenez Family Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

About our program

In addition to my preschool program, other activities in which children would participate include: reading books, coloring, dramatizations, block constructions, musical appreciation, dance and outdoor games which will prepare the child for his first day of school.
