Our Teachers

Kara, Founder & Director of Dream Scholars Christian Daycare

With over nine years of hands-on experience in early childhood education, Kara has devoted her career to nurturing and educating young children. As a proud mother of two daughters, she deeply understands the value of providing a safe, loving, and enriching space where little ones can grow, learn, and thrive.

Kara holds child development units and is certified in both CPR and First Aid, ensuring that every child in her care benefits from a high standard of safety alongside quality education. Her passion for working with children was sparked shortly after college, leading her to roles in various daycare centers and as a preschool teacher. These experiences solidified her purpose—to create a warm, supportive environment where children are not only cared for but genuinely loved and valued, just like her own.

In line with her commitment to early learning, Kara has developed a custom educational workbook used during structured learning time. Her curriculum is thoughtfully designed to captivate young minds through interactive, faith-based lessons that build essential foundational skills in a joyful and engaging way.

At Dream Scholars Daycare, Kara is dedicated to cultivating a welcoming, stimulating environment where children feel like family. She takes great pride in supporting each child’s early development and being a trusted part of their journey into lifelong learning.

Philosophy

At Dream Scholars Daycare our mission is to create a nurturing, faith-based environment where children can flourish—academically, emotionally, and spiritually. We offer a well-rounded preschool curriculum that supports every area of development: cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.

Our approach blends hands-on learning, structured activities, and imaginative play to spark curiosity, promote independence, and build confidence in every child. Guided by Christian values, our program is thoughtfully designed to provide meaningful learning experiences in a warm and supportive atmosphere.

Our dedicated team of CPR and First Aid certified caregivers prioritizes both safety and love, ensuring each child feels seen, supported, and celebrated. We also emphasize wellness by offering healthy organic meals and encouraging healthy habits from an early age.

At Dream Scholars Daycare, we’re not just preparing children for kindergarten—we’re laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning, guided by faith, joy, and discovery.

Program Values

  1. Respect for the Child We see every infant and toddler as a whole, capable individual. We foster independence by allowing freedom within safe boundaries and meeting each child where they are developmentally.

  2. Gentle, Responsive Care Our caregivers are attentive, loving, and responsive, building strong attachments and trust through consistency, eye contact, and warm interactions.

  3. Montessori-Inspired Exploration Our environment is calm, uncluttered, and full of purposeful materials that promote curiosity, coordination, and independence through hands on experiences.

  4. Faith-Filled Foundation We model kindness, patience, and grace, gently weaving in Christian values to support the development of compassionate hearts and joyful spirits.

  5. Sensory-Rich Environment Our Childcare is designed with natural elements and soft textures to engage the senses and support motor development, language, and self-awareness.

  6. Partnership with Parents We believe families are a child’s first teachers. We work closely with parents, offering open communication and support as we walk together through these precious early years.

  7. Safe, Secure & Predictable We provide consistency and routine that gives our little lambs a sense of safety and confidence as they take their first steps into the world.

Location

Our daycare is nestled in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, offering a safe and welcoming space for children to thrive.
