Our Teachers

All of our teachers are certified and approved by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Our lead teachers each bring at least 10 years of experience, with one having over 20 years in early childhood education.

We are deeply passionate about caring for children and take great pride in the quality of care we provide.

Our facility is well-equipped with a wide variety of high-quality educational materials and toys, along with spacious indoor and outdoor play areas designed to support learning and fun in a safe environment.

Philosophy

At Giving Tree Daycare Center, we believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that early childhood is a time for discovery, growth, and joyful learning.

We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children feel valued, respected, and loved. Through play-based learning, structured routines, and caring relationships, we help children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually at their own pace.

We partner with families to support each child’s individual needs, fostering a strong sense of community, trust, and open communication. Our goal is to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning by promoting curiosity, confidence, empathy, and independence in every child we care for.

Location

Our daycare center is located at 6670 W Becher Place in West Allis, WI, in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood known for its safety and sense of community. We’re located right next to the West Allis Fire Station, which not only adds a layer of security but also gives children a unique sense of connection to community helpers.

The area is surrounded by residential homes, making it a peaceful and welcoming environment for young children. We are conveniently situated near several local schools, including Franklin Elementary and West Allis Central High School, which makes drop-off and pick-up routines easier for families with older siblings.

We’re also close to Liberty Heights Park and McCarty Park, where families can enjoy outdoor play and nature on evenings and weekends.

Public transportation is easily accessible, with Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus stops nearby, offering convenient routes for commuting parents.

Overall, our location offers the perfect blend of safety, accessibility, and community, making it an ideal setting for your child to grow, learn, and thrive.
