Philosophy
A key word in our program is respect. We foster respect for self, respect for others, and respect for materials in developmentally appropriate ways. In a secure and nurturing environment, our curriculum provides for all areas of a child’s development: physical, emotional, social, and cognitive. We believe that children learn through active exploration and interaction with adults, other children, and materials.

About our program
At Little Hands Big Hearts in West Seattle, children thrive through interactive learning experiences. Our program fosters cognitive and motor skills, social connections, and a loving atmosphere. Specializing in early childhood growth, we stand out for our hands-on approach that ensures a well-rounded education. The children are encouraged through every stage of their development to play, question, think for themselves, and verbalize their feelings; foster positive relationships with their peers and teachers, problem solve, explore and through all of this develop a lifelong love of learning.
