Our Teachers

Vaneh Davoudyan, Director I have an Early Childhood Education Degree and my role is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children. I always prioritize the well being of each child, ensuring they feel cared for and engaged. One of the most fulfilling rewards is witnessing children develop new skills and reach important milestones and I am very flexible and love supporting families who need childcare assistance. I believe home-based daycares offer a more intimate and homely setting compared to traditional centers because children often feel more comfortable and secure in this environment. My goal is to choose and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that aids the development of the small children we serve while also providing developmentally appropriate instruction in subjects such as math, language and science.

Hengameh Mandaniowraki, infant teacher She also has a Early Childhood Education certificate and is extremely patient and loves children. She has a passion for helping young kids, watching them learn, and guiding them in achieving milestones. She is very professional in providing the first foundational experiences for a child’s development and provides care and affection, and engage in activities that stimulate sensory, motor, and cognitive development during the first stages of life!

Helia Vakili, toddler teacher She is the one who update all the parents on daily basis via Whatsapp with pictures and gives them very detailed reports. She look after children, helps them to learn and socialize, and supervises their play and activities. She also puts together daily lesson plans, plans learning activities for children, and interacts with parents to discuss the progress of their child.

Rasha Shaheen: She is our back up teacher. She believes, there’s never a boring day in daycare and it’s awesome watching the huge developmental explosions of early years. “ It is a thing of beauty to see them start to realize the boundaries between themselves and others and really going full tilt and seizing that personal sense of power. Tantrums don’t bug me at all, in a way I enjoy them (aside from kiddo distress) because they’re often a very good way to start to learn their ways of thinking, and can actually be a source of bonding when you start being able to interpret them for the individual child. (Its constant actual words whining that gets to me which is much more usual for the preschooler/primary set!) One of my favorite phrases ever from kids is “no! I do it myself!”

Philosophy

Our daily schedule is carefully designed to promote children’s learning and development through a balance of child-led free play and engaging teacher-planned learning activities.

A Child Care Daily Schedule Encourages Success: Child Care Daily Schedule Studies show that children learn differently than adults and have different daily needs than adults have. Our daily childcare schedule is designed to make the most of these differences and meet the needs of your child by providing a flexible, balanced routine that maximizes learning through play.

Daily Schedules Provide Routine: Children need consistency in their daily routines. They thrive on routine; it helps them make sense of the world and gives them a sense of security. An appropriately structured routine can help reinforce positive behaviors in children and minimize negative behaviors.

Our Child Care Daily Schedule is Flexible: Our daily schedule provides a basic framework for our days but is not rigid. Rigidity in a schedule offers its own set of problems. When children are especially engrossed in their play, or a daily activity demands a few additional minutes, it is beneficial to adjust the schedule to accommodate the activity. Problems can result when children are regularly asked to stop engrossing work to engage in something less meaningful. This can promote negative or destructive behavior in the child. The childcare schedule may vary on a daily basis because it is based on the children’s interests and needs. It also varies according to the weather and the season; we spend much more time outside when it’s nice out and more time inside when it’s not. Little Miracles Daycare provides kids, ages 3 months old to 5 years old, with quality early learning and childhood development. Overwhelming evidence has demonstrated that play is one of the most essential ways in which children gain essential knowledge and skills in their formative years.

We have a Play-Based Daily Schedule: Young children are naturally curious and learn best by exploring and discovering for themselves through play. Play is essential for children’s learning and development; new concepts, improved skills and enhanced comprehension come to children through play. Children’s senses help them to experience the world around them, and their imaginations take them anywhere they want to go. While playing, children learn to originate and organize ideas, become more flexible in problem solving, and develop longer attention spans. Children also learn to communicate their thoughts, feelings, ideas and needs to others during play. Our daily childcare schedule provides plenty of time for children to play in a rich learning environment. Our play centered approach allows children to learn crucial life skills like problem-solving, creativity, empathy, communication, and teamwork.
