Our Teachers
My name is Sara, and I am the proud owner and lead provider at Seven Little Stars Daycare. I have over 12 years of hands-on experience in early childhood education, including leadership roles as a teacher, program supervisor, and assistant director at KinderCare. These roles helped me gain deep knowledge in child development, curriculum planning, and family engagement.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE). I am also certified in CPR and First Aid, and I follow NAEYC standards to ensure quality, developmentally appropriate care for each child in my program.
I started Seven Little Stars to create a home-based space where children can grow through play, feel safe, and be truly seen and supported. As a mother myself, I know how important it is to feel confident in the people caring for your child — and that’s the level of trust and love I offer every family here.
At this time, I personally run the daycare, ensuring consistency and close attention to every child’s emotional and developmental needs. I provide healthy homemade meals, a play-based curriculum, and a warm, structured routine that supports social, emotional, and academic growth from infancy through age five.
Philosophy
At Seven Little Stars Daycare, our approach is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play. We offer a play-based program that encourages curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning. Every day is filled with hands-on activities, storytelling, music, art, outdoor play, and discovery.
Our goal is to support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a way that feels natural and fun. We believe that play builds confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills—all essential for lifelong learning.
We value: Individual attention – every child is unique and deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. Safe and loving relationships – we create a warm, trusting environment where children feel secure. Healthy habits – we provide homemade meals and model kindness, respect, and responsibility. We follow developmentally appropriate practices and build our daily routines around the needs and interests of the children, helping them grow at their own pace while preparing for kindergarten and beyond.
