She loves kids and has worked with them since she was a teen, taking care of her nieces and nephews, neighbors and watching her friend’s children. When she moved to America with her family in 2010, she worked at a Private school (KUA) as an assistant store clerk, where she spent most of her time with the students. She went back to school and earned her Associate degree in Business management from River Valley Community College and a certification in guest services through American Hotel Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI). She is CPR First Aid certified. . Now she’s back to school for her Bachelor’s degree in ECE, _Ms Tee.

And Joanna!

Joanna has been in America for 35 years, arriving as a child at age five, speaking another language with her three siblings through adoption from Costa Rica .She strives to live for others, God, and the country she was blessed to come to many years ago. She went on to get her GED while living in The Upper Valley of New Hampshire. She has two sons and a stepdaughter, who all reside in Vermont with her and her husband for the last nine years. She graduated as a Certified Medical Assistant from River Valley Community College. Dartmouth Hitchcock employed her for a while before she moved on to study child development at the Community College of Vermont. Philosophy

Tee’s Little Stars childcare provides children the comfort and experience of belonging to an extended family. We provide a home-like setting, and our approach to childcare is child-centered and child-directed. Our goal is to provide a safe, quality, and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. Learning from the parents and community, learning from colleagues, and especially learning from the children, children have taught us to open our minds and our hearts to the joys, the innocence, and the diversity of ideas in the world. Because of this, we will never forget how to smile with the new, cherish the old, and laugh with the children. inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, We believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory-motor development, language development, and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property.
