Randi Glover- Mrs. Randi loves the imagination and play of children. She has a gentle personality and enjoys the seeing children grow and learn. Children are drawn to her nurturing and playful nature.
Philosophy
At Igniting Futures Academy, we prioritize meeting young children’s health and safety needs, fostering consistent, predictable, and playful interactions with nurturing staff. While aiming to prepare children for kindergarten and life experiences, we also embrace individual development pace, advocating for allowing kids to savor their childhood in a safe learning environment.
Location
Currently housed with Head Start partners at Rosenwald Felts Community Center. Igniting Futures Academy is seeing a site in GRAYSON CO.
About our program
Our community has struggled with the lack of dependable and affordable quality daycare. Igniting Futures Academy will allow parents to work and know their child’s day will be filled with learning, play and affectionate teachers. Children will have the opportunity to explore, ask questions, and make new friends in a safe environment. Play is the work of a child.
Rhythm of the Day

7:30Breakfast and free explore time. Teachers will greet each child, guide them to handwashing and morning conversations.

8:45Table or special activities-letters, numbers, science, fine motor practice such as cutting, pasting coloring

9:15Group time - calendar, games, music and movement, counting, stories & reflection

9:45Self-directed play with small group activities like art, science or special planned activities.

10:30Outdoor Play and Explore

11:30Lunch

12:15Story time, reflection of the morning. Rest, relax and recover time. Children will rest quietly for a minimum of 30 minutes. Quiet activities will be provided for children unable to nap.

2:00Bathroom break and then snack

2:15Free explore time inside or outside depending on the weather

3:00-5:00Table play: puzzles, play-doh, drawing, lacing table games etc. Assorted activities as children depart for the day.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/igniting-futures-acacemy-9482/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
