Testimonials

My son grew tremendously both socially and academically during his two years at AUMC. The teachers and staff were wonderful, and my son always looked forward to going to preschool which I think says a lot about the program in and of itself. We are sad to be leaving AUMC, but I am confident this program has prepared him well to succeed in kindergarten.

Matthew’s mom.

I appreciate how the staff is very attentive to my child’s needs, communicates any concerns and also shares photos recapping how their day is. It makes me feel like they really care about my daughter’s well-being.

Reign’s mom

The staff is caring. The environment is welcoming and friendly. My son has bloomed out of his shell and looks forward to each day in class.

Philosophy

The Weekdays Children’s Program offers whole day and part day comprehensive developmental activities for children aged 3 months to kindergarten. The programs are NAEYC accredited and licensed through the Virginia Department of Education. Our philosophy is in alignment with NAEYC and is play-based infused with STEAM. We believe children learn through unique abilities and development. Our classrooms foster social skills, self-confidence, self-esteem and an awareness of the communities around them helping them to become self sufficient.
