Our Teachers

Hello, my name is Isis Winn, I am the founder of Little Champion Wonderschool. I have many years of experience caring for children from infant to school aged children. I’ve worked in a childcare setting previously at a popular sporting club, where I was responsible for 12 children independently. I’ve also served as a nanny to a prestigious clientele. I have a B.A in Sociology with emphasis in Family Studies from Georgia State University. I am passionate about nurturing children as they are the future.

I am married to my childhood friend of many years. My husband has a B.S., in Education and was the recipient of Teacher of the Year for Red Oak Independent School District in 2018. After welcoming our first child, Asha, in 2019 she has been the catalyst to transitioning back into childcare. Prior to starting Little Champion Childcare, I struggled with finding the type of care that that suited our family best. I became empowered to provide a service that is safe, nurturing, and education-based to Hutchins, TX and the surrounding communities.

Philosophy

At Little Champion Wonderschool, we are your child’s early learning champion. We believe in providing children with an appropriate learning environment, where the adults around them listen to their verbal and nonverbal cues. We believe this is how children express their needs and desires. It is our job to not just “teach” your child but to provide them with experiences that will help them develop strong communication and social emotional skills. These experiences also facilitate a child’s understanding of themselves, their family, peers, as well as the world around them.

Location

Little Champion Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming single family home in the Sunrise Creek Estates neighborhood. We are located off of I20 in Hutchins, a neighboring city of Dallas, Desoto, and Lancaster. Dallas ISD primary and secondary schools are located within walking distance from us. We are also conveniently located near the following employers Amazon, UNT Dallas, and FedEx.

About our program

How does Little Champion Wonderschool stand out from your typical commercial center?

We provide personalized care for each child. Your child will be a part of a program that meets them at their individual developmental ability and helps them to achieve new heights. We offer a low teacher to student ratio, which enables us to observe each student meticulously. If there is a deficient area detected with the partnership of parent and teacher, we believe we can champion that area of opportunity into a success.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
