Our Teachers
At Mary McLeod Bethune Day Nursery, our most valuable asset is our team. All of our teachers are CPR- and First Aid–certified, and they hold the required state licenses and credentials to ensure children are safe, secure, and cared for at all times. Many of our staff are certificate or college degree holders who bring deep knowledge, compassion, and dedication into every classroom.

Our philosophy is to nurture the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually—while fostering a safe and inclusive environment where they feel valued and supported. We encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving, helping children gain confidence and develop the skills they need for lifelong success.
We are also deeply committed to family and community partnerships, understanding that children thrive when caregivers and educators work together. By honoring diversity and embracing each child’s individuality, we aim to provide a joyful, nurturing space that prepares children not only for school but also for life.

About our program
Allow us to guide your children into great living, loving, and learning experiences at Mary McLeod Bethune Early Child Development Nursery, Inc. We are a non-profit child development center in Corpus Christi, TX.
Parents need not worry about who is going to look after their children after school. We provide free transportation from 10 Corpus Christi Independent School District schools to our center so that they can attend after-school and holiday programs. Private pay options are also available.
