ANDREA GRIFFIN - PROGRAM DIRECTOR Andrea studied Education and Child Psychology at Portland State University. She has owned three successful childcare businesses including a Registered Family, a Recorded Preschool Program, and a Certified Family Childcare. Andrea has been in the childcare/ education industry for over 30 years. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing a strong relationship with each child AND family. She believes we are partners in the growth and development of each child, and it is important to work together for the best interest of each child. She strives to build a sense of community with all of the families in care. Andrea and her husband are empty nesters with three grown children, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves hiking, biking, kayaking, and a good backyard BBQ.
JESSIE ANDERSON - Sub Jess Anderson got her Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a specialization in Early Childhood Development and Education from Oregon State University. With a background in education she went down a journey of being a private nanny and assistant in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. These positions not only allowed her to play a big part in the development and care of her charges but gave her an incredible opportunity to travel the world while doing it. She was born and raised in Lake Oswego, Oregon where she met her life long best friends playing volleyball and where her and her now husband, Taylor, reside with their two golden retrievers, Goose and Ziggy. She loves to nerd out on true crime documentaries, spend time in her veggie garden, bake with her sourdough starter and take trips to the beach or the mountains with family and friends in her spare time.
LINDSEY SCOTT - Sub Lindsey is a high school graduate who started working in the childcare industry when she was 11 years old, in all different settings such as preschools, daycares, centers, nannying, and babysitting. She took early childhood education and child psychology classes every year in high school, for extra credit and out of her own enjoyment since it was her favorite subject. She grew up as both a competitive dancer and cheerleader starting at 2 years old, and has coached and taught young children beginning skills to get into those sports. She’s now expecting her own daughter in October and couldn’t be more excited to be a mom. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family, friends, and cats.
ANA ORTIZ REYES - INFANT TEACHER My name is Ana Ortiz and I am an Assistant Teacher at Wee Wonders. I mainly work with our infants but also have spent time with our toddlers. This spring I will graduate with my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and continue my education at Portland State University in the Fall. I am from Lincoln City and moved up to the Portland area a couple years ago to pursue my education. My free time consists of driving to the coast to visit my loved ones. Teaching young children truly makes my heart happy and is a passion of mine. I hope to continue making great relationships with the children, families, and the team!
Whitney McCool – Toddler Teacher My name is Whitney McCool, and I’ve been working in education for over 15 years. Helping children learn and grow has always been my life’s passion, and I truly cherish the opportunity to be part of their early development. As a parent to two teenagers, I also deeply value building strong, supportive relationships with fellow parents. One of my favorite things about working with young children is observing the incredible way their minds work—each child brings something unique and inspiring, and I feel lucky to spend my days learning alongside them.

Our onboarding philosophy is that a child’s work is play, providing a theme-based preschool program and a rich learning environment. In addition, our mission includes providing the highest quality care and education that is child-centered, holistic, and values all children as individuals. We offer a child-focused early learning environment that nurtures children’s social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development under the guidance of highly trained professionals, ensuring safety and personalized care that acknowledges each child’s unique identity. Our focus is on fostering creativity through developmentally appropriate, resource-rich, play-based learning, allowing children to explore, discover, and experiment while our staff encourages inquiry and ensures their safety.
