Our Teachers

I first started working professionally with children as a tutor in 2010. I working at the Kumon tutoring center for 3yrs. Followed by some years of nannying, and watching children in my home as an unlicensed provider. Before opening my licensed child care I worked in a licensed in home childcare for 3yrs. I have now been a licensed provider for nearly 4yrs and have almost 200hrs in training/certificate hours.

Philosophy

Through play we will learn about ourselves, peer interaction, and all the ABC’s and 123’s will naturally intertwine in our everyday play. My focus is heavily on teaching each child independence and self worth to last a lifetime.

Location

I am located a few doors down from Murdock Park.

About our program

My program is play based with a focus on teaching each child to be independent and confident in themselves. Each month I provide my families with at least one local event for them to attend that I, and other families in my care, will be in attendance. Once a month there is a Saturday or Sunday where I offer drop in care between the hours of 12pm-6pm, this is an additional fee. I decorate my home for the holidays. We also celebrate each child’s birthday with a meal & treat of their choice, as well as a special gift from me!
