Our Teachers

Hello! I am Phoebe, the founder of Fox & Clover Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I recently started homeschooling my kids and have found it so gratifying! I have 15 years of experience working with young children.

Philosophy

At Fox & Clover, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. Our goal is to provide an environment that helps each child feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their interests in a safe space and appropriate pace.

Location

We are located in a spacious, warm single-family home in the Argay Terrace Neighborhood of Portland. We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include the reading/cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts), and block area (for gross motor skills and problem-solving).

Children will have some outdoor time every day at a mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.

At Fox & Clover, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

About our program

Fox & Clover Wonderschool is an in-house daycare run by stay-at-home mom, Phoebe, and her two children, Frida and Logan. Their mom homeschools Frida and Logan and attend a local homeschool group as well. With an emphasis on development-appropriate learning, practical skills, and play, they always have fun projects and crafts to do. Their home is spacious and open, perfect for children to play, and they even have a small backyard. When not at home, they love to venture out around the PNW outdoors and find beauty in the world around them.
