Philosophy
Firstly, I whole heartedly believe that childcare is a partnership - and we become a family. We’re in this together.
I believe that children should enjoy their childhood!
They should wiggle, giggle, and learn ‘hands-on’ through exploration and play.
(Dirt and mud-puddles can be educational too.)
Our Motto: Be a good friend!
This is a skill that is learned and practiced daily and intentionally.
It has many meanings, and it looks different in every situation. It could be an opportunity for children to learn empathy, show compassion, be patient, share, seeking help for others, lending a hand, helping to share the responsibility of a task, and so many other scenarios. These are the fundamental building blocks to pave the road to developing so many other essential skills, such as: effective communication, cooperation, work ethic, integrity, and kindness – which we need more of in this world!
About our program
This will be your child’s home away from home and I hope to create a lasting positive impact in their life.
I want them to feel safe, loved, valued, and encouraged.
They will be inspirited to be inquisitive, use their imagination, create, explore, and engage.
My goal is to inspire a positive attitude toward new things, people, and experiences.
I aim to cultivate an environment that allows the freedom to make mistakes, opportunities to learn and grow, problem solve, share thoughts and ideas, build social awareness, learn empathy and how to be a good friend.
I hope to instill in them a sense of pride, accomplishment, and understanding that each of them is celebrated for their own unique set of skills and capabilities.
I hope to influence acceptance and appreciation of our differences, and with that empower them to have a sense of self-worth and purpose.
I want you to feel confident that your child’s needs will be met and this is why I intentionally provide them the individual and personal attention they need, and nurture their emotional and intellectual development and growth.
