Our Teachers
Hello! I am Renell Eaglen, the founder of Little Saints Kiddie Cove Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. Last year, I decided that I wanted to take my passion of working with kids by opening my own program. I’ve found a great community to serve and I deeply care about the children that I get to see every day.
Achievements
Philosophy
At Little Saints Kiddie Cove Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery.
We are a play-based program. We have created an environment where each child can have fun, learn and develop to the best of their potential. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials.
Every child deserves attention and love. In my program, I like to cater to the needs and styles of the children. If your child loves getting a high-five after an activity, then I want to be sure to give him/her the attention and love.
We are family. In my program, I treat the kids like they’re my own. If something goes wrong, we address it as if it’s a shared concern so that all children in the program learn to play and share with others.
Location
Little Saints Kiddie Cove Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, cozy apartment in Harlem.
It is very centrally located with easy access to the subway and just blocks away from Central Park! We go to the park every day, so that children can run, jump and play!
In our childcare, we’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).
At Little Saints Kiddie Cove Wonderschool, we want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.
