Our Teachers

Hello! I am Aylin Rodriguez, the founder of Aylin’s Daycare. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 17 years of experience working with young children. I am a parent and also have my CDA certification. I am more comfortable speaking Spanish, but can speak and understand English as well. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Philosophy

We are a Spanish-speaking, play-based daycare program where children are always learning by exploring the world around them. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home when they are in our care. At Aylin’s Daycare, our children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished as they learn new skills and discover new things!

Location

Aylin’s Daycare is located in a beautiful, spacious apartment (with a Disney theme!) in the Washington Heights neighborhood. At Aylin’s Daycare, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include music, dramatic play, and a cozy corner for quiet reading time. We go outside every day to make sure children have space to be active and exercise.

About our program

At Aylin’s Daycare, we are bilingual! We incorporate Spanish into our daily lessons and routines. Children will be spoken to in both English and Spanish, which helps broaden their vocabularies and exposes them to a new culture. We look forward to teaching your little one a new language as they grow!
