Hello! I am Tiffany Taylor, the founder of The Baby Play Place with Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young and having my own children made me want to be home to care for them. I have 25 years of experience working with young children. I have my CDA Credential and am working towards my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.

Philosophy

The Baby Play Place with Wonderschool aims to provide a safe, healthy and nurturing educational environment for children. A place where children can explore and learn all while doing what children do best: play!

The Baby Play Place with Wonderschool wants all children to have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually by playing, exploring and learning with others in a fun and safe environment.

As a home based childcare, we seek to provide a nurturing environment for your child’s health and well-being. With regular staff training and program development The Baby Play Place with Wonderschool. assures that your child will receive the best care possible.

Location

The Baby Play Place with Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming apartment in the Williamsburg neighborhood. We are conveniently located to families along the G, J, and M lines of the subway. This program also has the following:

• 24 hour surveillance and security guards
• Close to local precinct, fire department and hospital
• private playground for tenants and guests only
• stroller and wheelchair accessible elevators in building
• meals and snacks prepared via CACFP standards
• close to large field for fun free range play

About our program

The Baby Play Place Preschool utilizes the Creative Curriculum for Family Childcare. 

Additionally we incorporate themes and study units that help children make connections across all developmental domains, learn new concepts, and vocabulary, and practice other early learning skills.

Family engagement is an important part of our program. Each month parents will be provided with a schedule of our monthly themes and activities as well as a summary of our current study unit.

You will be able to view pictures of your child participating in daily activities through our website. You should have access to them if you signed up as a member on the site.

All children are assessed according to their age level throughout the year. Parents will be given a copy of this assessment so you are aware of your child’s development.  This helps to determine school readiness level as well as a way to track your chuilds developmental milestones.

The Baby Play Place with Wonderschool offers a ton of enrichment opportunities like cooking, horticulture, music, dance, and trips to the local library!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
