Philosophy
At Bumble Beezel Child Care, our primary goal is for children to feel safe and secure. We work to develop caring, respectful, and responsive relationships with children from infancy through preschool by partnering with families to support a child’s growth and development.
Children are given the opportunity to explore materials and participate in a variety of experiences. Activities are carefully planned and implemented in an open-classroom setting. Children are free to choose from age-appropriate activities including art, music, language development, pre-math skills, science and nature, and dramatic play. Our children develop self-esteem, problem solving skills, and independence. We treat all children with respect and kindness.
Location
Bumble Beezel Child Care is located in Bed Stuy and is easily accessible by public transportation.
We have two large spacious rooms, including a loft for the children to explore. Our space includes separate napping, kitchen, and restroom areas. Most importantly, we have a learning area, where kids are able to express themselves and learn with different materials every day.
We are near many wonderful parks and frequently enjoy outdoor activities with the little ones. We make sure to make it a fun and educating experience.
About our program
Our research-based early learning curriculum includes activities to help children become problem solvers through a mix of exploration, structured activity, and hands-on learning.
Children will work on the early literacy, math, life science, and social studies concepts they need to be ready for kindergarten. Beyond classroom skills, we work to ensure there is a healthy dose of physical activities, including yoga and dancing.
