Our Teachers

My name is Olga, and I am the director of My Little Stars Wonderschool. I am the proud mom of three - one in middle school, one in high school, and one at university. I have 19 years of working with children and opened this program in 2016, after deciding I wanted to have a program of my own.

Philosophy

At My Little Stars Wonderschool, we believe that a play-based environment helps children learn and grow. When children are young, they develop best through the chance to interact with the real world around them - they can imagine and see colors, numbers, and shapes everywhere. We use that to help them learn, and being at an in-home daycare lets children spend time with others and grow alongside peers.

Location

Our program is located in a secured building in The Bronx, right at the north end of the Highbridge neighborhood. We are able to go outside in both the Plimpton and Bridge Playgrounds.

About our program

We care deeply about your child here! We think it is important for children to gain independence, and they are able to do that when they are in a place that is joyful and gives them a sense of family.

We have tons of fun at the local outdoor options. With so many green spaces in the area, we are able to go to the park and take advantage of the many fun things to do in our neighborhood.

I am part of our local food program. This means that I plan each meal with thought and detail around fruits, vegetables, and portions. Your child will get fresh meals and snacks each day.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
