Our Teachers

Hello! My name is Miladys Vega and I am the founder of Ariyely Group Family Daycare & Wonderschool. I have always taken care of children, both here and in my home country of the Dominican Republic. This program was originally licensed here in 2014, and I have received my CDA from New York. I believe in treating all children here like they are my family, and like they are all equally loved.

Philosophy

Here at Ariyely Group Family Daycare, we believe in using play to guide learning. Children are able to use the real world as a model for how they’ll play, whether that is through our dramatic play kitchen or building block towers that resemble our community. We believe that an in-home program allows families to find a caregiver who will their child very well and connect with them from an early age with true cariño.

Location

Our program is located in an apartment in the Unionport/Parkchester neighborhoods of the Bronx. We are located a short walk from the Parkchester subway station along the 6 line and the Q44 bus line. Our outside time is spent taking walks nearby and heading to local parks.

About our program

We follow a weekly plan to support student learning and development. Our curriculum is based off of student interest - I look at their interests to decide our daily activities and how they fit into our bigger monthly themes and units.

I believe that building healthy eating habits happens when you help children learn to enjoy nutritious food. As part of a local food plan everything prepared here reflects federal guidelines. But we also make sure that your child enjoys what they eat!

At an early age, we believe in instilling independence. Your child will leave our program ready for whatever comes next - school, and beyond! Putting on their jackets, feeding themselves, and being comfortable away from home are important parts of the daycare experience.

This program focuses on Spanish. Your child will spend most of their time growing and developing their vocabulary in Spanish.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
