Hello! I am Cassandra the founder and the owner of “Children of the Way Learning Center.(A home based Christian Center)

I always dream about having my own preschool session. I love teaching children to be kind to each other as well as respect each other, while they are learning and having fun within a safe and secure environment. I have 32 years of experience working with young children. I have four beautiful adult children of my own as well as three grandchildren. Philosophy

At Children of The Way Learning Center. We believe children learn through exploring the world by learning how to play with each other through; problem solving, effective communication, hands on interaction, conflict resolution. In our program, children will feel safe and secure. We are a play-based program that focus on academics (reading with puppets, dramatic play, art, music, math, cooking, yogurt, science and social studies). Also outdoor activities.

Location

“Children of The Way Learning Center” is located in North Las Vegas in a nice quiet corner sack neighborhood. We have two public library, shopping Center, restaurants, Quick care medical center, hospital, public transportation and a neighborhood park, also two great families park, Aliante nature discovery park and Craig Ranch Park.

About our program

Children of the Way Learning Center is a Creative Play Learning Center. My home setting is purposely designed to give children the opportunity to learn through, exploration, creativity and having fun as the child learns within a caring and loving environment. The scheduled activities have been uniquely chosen to develop social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth. The daily learning plan also includes a curriculum for ages 3 to 5 years old that prepares your child for an above standard kindergarten program. Children of the Way Learning Center is a play-based program that includes reading, language, writing and math skills.

While your child is under my care, I will make every effort to help your child feel comfortable and welcomed to our learning center family. During the first two weeks, I will observe and assess your child’s social, emotional and academic development (Preschool assessment is for curriculum planning purpose only).

· Hot, fresh and nutritious meals will be served daily

·Healthy snacks will be served daily

· Hours of operation are comparable to school aged students (Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with major holidays off)

· CPR, Firs Aid, and Certified Service

Creative Play Learning Center: means to learn through play (learn while playing) as the child has fun, exploring, being creative. This is all done with care and compassion.
