Profile
Motivated professional over fifteen years of caring for and teaching children:
I’ve identified my passion for children when I was just child myself, the desire to attend to, teach, and assist children has always been a part of my life. As a pre-teenager my cousin and I volunteered to babysit and or care for children in our neighborhood for fun, it was something we looked forward to doing every single day. The very moment I came of age and was able to start working, I applied at a daycare center. I then opened a home childcare, and proceeded to a group home child care (responsible for more children).
I am proud to say we are now center based ‘Pride and Joy Learning Center Childcare,’ Here we teach three year old’s how to read, while build up their confidence in learning we assist children as they explore the world around them , demonstrating achievements at their little fingertips. Exploring the world through their eyes, achieving short term goals one day at a time. Starting right where they are academically, absorbing a child’s exploration equip us with the tools needed to teach individuals. While assisting our little ones today in a world they will run tomorrow.

Personal Letter of Recommendation
Date: 05/11/2020
My name is Arretta Prestage and I am proud to offer my recommendation of Myisha Bonner to whom I have personally known for 11 years as my friend and director of childcare for 7 years.
During my relationship with Myisha I have experienced a director who shows up earlier than asked, works hard, and carries themselves in a polite, respectable manner. While my child was under Myiesha’s directives for five years, I experienced the utmost satisfaction for an in home daycare. She was attentive to my daughter’s needs, communicated daily about the day to day progress of my child and served her educational needs. Myisha’s daycare gave me a sense of peace and clarity when my child was in her care. Her integrity and pride that she stowed upon her business offered the utmost confidence in my daughter’s care. Her daycare was well organized, sanitary and presented a safe environment for children of all ages. Furthermore, Myisha implemented potty training, kindergarten educational lessons and character building through games and social settings. In addition, Myisha is a family-person who has always presented themselves with level headedness and grace. I would highly recommend Myisha’s daycare to any person that is seeking childcare needs.

I am writing to recommend Myisha Bonner.
I have known Myisha Bonner for over 13 years and have nothing but positive things to say. I met Myisha while I was working as our church Administrative Assistant and Youth/Young Adult Leader. It was during this time I had the pleasure of connecting and working alongside Myisha.
She is a kind-hearted individual, creative, passionate and compassionate: I have seen her bring out the best qualities in youth that were considered difficult to other people. There is no doubt in my mkind that with her determination Myisha will excel.

b.) Our first job as caregivers is to be there for our students and to ensure their safety and well being.
++Create a Fun and Happy Environment++
c.) Learning happens best when we are having fun. Here at P&J we love creativity, everyone’s ideas and theory’s get tested. We encourage involvement with assisting and providing options for the children. P&J where learning is fun.
++Be Adventurous, Creative, and Open-Minded++
d.) When children try new things, explore new ideas and are open to meeting new people it strengthens the development of the brain. We also believe adventurous play is beneficial to children’s development by helping them discover options and solutions.
++We Pursue Growth and Learning++

f.) Parent involvement is critical, you are the child’s first teacher we ask for your support and encouragement. As well as your insight on your child’s development.
