Our Teachers
Our teachers are Mitzie Allen who grew up in Chicago, IL where she had experience in early childhood development working for Church of God Day Care. Mitzie went on to become a Licensed Activity Director for over 13 years with our seniors at different nursing facilities. Mitzie have 3 children and 6 grandchildren who love to keep her busy and active.
Nyla Manuel also grew up in Chicago. Nyla has worked with disabled/special needs children for 3 years and later worked with seniors at Hazelcrest nursing home in Chicago.
Philosophy
At Bight Beginnings Home Day Care, we believe in providing a nurturing and safe environment where children can explore, learn and develop their fullest potential. We value individuality, creativity, and respect for others, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among our young learners. Our philosophy is centered on promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play- based and hands on activities, instilling a love for learning that will last a lifetime. We are committed to partnering with families to support each child’s unique journey and to creating a positive and enriching early childhood experience for all.
Location
We’re located in Centennial Hills near Sky Canyon Park. There are bus routes for those who are taking local transportation. The I95 is 3 blocks away from us. Our neighborhood is up and coming with new homes and franchises.
