I Lucilla May have 25 yrs experience in the childcare business. 22 of those years were in a center. I have 3 years experience in the home care setting. I am licensed and have many certificates in childcare. I love the children like they were my own and I always make sure they come first. I am the Director of my home childcare.
Philosophy
As a family childcare provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured and flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. The children in my care will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property.
