Philosophy
I believe young children learn best through play. Play-based learning allows children to develop in varying rates learning happens through process, and children are naturally creative and curious. Play-based learning allows the child to be active participants in learning which allows them to express their interest’s creative thinking while learning. Children can express their ideas, through art, music, dramatic play and storytelling.

I have over 30 years of experience in early childhood education and childcare, and I continue to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field.
At Vicki Garcia’s Daycare, we believe that every child is unique and has their own set of needs and abilities.
