Giáo viên của chúng tôi

Our teachers are Cami and Becca Mallory, co-founders of Little Sprouts Family Co-Op. Together, we bring more than 30 years of combined experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families. Becca has 15+ years of experience with a special focus on infant and toddler development, child nutrition, sustainability, and responsive caregiving. Cami brings 15+ years of early childhood education and family advocacy experience, with particular interests in child development, behavior as communication, attachment, family relationships, resource navigation, and community support.

We founded Little Sprouts because we wanted to create the kind of early childhood community we wished existed for families: small, relationship-centered, inclusive, and deeply connected to the whole child. Our teaching is grounded in attachment and trauma-informed care and influenced by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf approaches. We believe children deserve adults who know them well, respect their individual development, and provide the safety, connection, time, and freedom they need to explore and grow.

Triết lý

Little Sprouts is an attachment-based, play-rich, relationship-centered early learning program where children are respected as capable, whole people. Our approach blends Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf-inspired practices with trauma-informed care, child development science, and a strong emphasis on co-regulation and secure relationships.

We believe children learn best through connection, curiosity, movement, meaningful work, nature, and plenty of uninterrupted play. Rather than expecting every child to develop on the same timeline, we meet children where they are, honor neurodiversity, and individualize support around each child’s needs, temperament, interests, culture, and family.

Families are an essential part of our program. We value open communication, consent and bodily autonomy, inclusion, social-emotional development, community connection, and creating an environment where LGBTQ+ families, diverse families, and children of all abilities feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. Our goal is not simply school readiness—it is helping children grow into curious, confident, compassionate people who feel safe being themselves.

Địa điểm

Little Sprouts is located in Northeast Albuquerque near Tramway, giving families easy access from the Foothills, Northeast Heights, and surrounding neighborhoods. Our home-based setting gives children the comfort and familiarity of a small, neighborhood program while still keeping us close to parks, open spaces, walking trails, libraries, museums, and other community resources we regularly incorporate into learning.

One of our favorite things about our location is how easily we can move between our home environment and the larger Albuquerque community. Children have opportunities to spend time outdoors, explore nature, visit local parks and cultural spaces, and experience their community as an extension of the classroom. This supports our nature-rich, play-based approach and helps children build a genuine connection to the place they live.
