Hello families! My name is Ms. Teona Little, and Iām the proud founder and lead teacher of Legacy Learners Preschool Academy. With a heart for education and a strong commitment to helping children build a solid foundation for their future, I created this virtual preschool to offer a meaningful, flexible, and community-driven learning experience for young learners.
As an educator and a mom, I understand how important it is to create a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. Thatās why our program focuses not only on kindergarten readiness but also on nurturing each childās imagination, confidence, and love for learning.
At Legacy Learners, I combine structured virtual learning with fun, in-person community activities and educational field trips that bring our weekly themes to life. I believe in the power of parent involvement, hands-on discovery, and joyful learning to create a truly unforgettable preschool experience.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your childās educational journey. I canāt wait to grow, play, and learn together this summer!
Philosophy
At Legacy Learners Preschool Academy, we believe that every child is born with unlimited potential and the natural curiosity to learn. Our philosophy centers on the idea that early education should be intentional, inclusive, engaging, and rooted in both family and community.
We provide a virtual learning environment that is nurturing, flexible, and developmentally appropriate ā one that fosters independence, creativity, and a love of discovery. We understand that children thrive when families are actively involved, so we offer weekly in-person events and field trip meetups to encourage real-world learning and community connection.
We believe that learning is not confined to the classroom ā it happens at home, at the park, at the zoo, and everywhere in between. Thatās why our program blends structured academics with hands-on experiences, creative play, and real-life exploration.
Above all, we are committed to preparing each child for kindergarten and beyond by focusing on the whole child ā intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically ā and by building a strong legacy of learning that begins with family.

About our program
About Legacy Learners Preschool Academy Where Early Learning Meets Community Connection
Legacy Learners Preschool Academy is a virtual early education program designed to provide high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children ages 3ā5. Our academy blends the convenience of at-home learning with the warmth of real community through thoughtfully planned in-person parent-child events.
Each week, families are invited to participate in optional in-person meetups aligned with our learning themes ā including exciting educational field trips to local museums, zoos, nature centers, and cultural experiences. These gatherings foster connection, social development, and hands-on exploration beyond the screen.
Our mission is to support kindergarten readiness while nurturing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning ā all while building a strong sense of community among students and families.
