Our Teachers
At Cozy Cub Daycare, I bring years of hands-on experience working with children and adults in both special education and general education settings. My background includes providing support and guidance in school environments, where I cultivated a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and developmental milestones.
I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all abilities, fostering growth, independence, and confidence through personalized care and innovative approaches. This experience has equipped me with the skills to adapt to each child’s unique learning style, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
My passion for nurturing young minds stems from my time in the classroom, where I developed strategies to create inclusive spaces that celebrate individuality. At Cozy Cub Daycare, I bring this same dedication to creating a warm, welcoming environment for every child in my care.
Philosophy
Child-Centered Approach: At Cozy Cub Daycare, we believe in the uniqueness of each child and their individual development pace. We offer a nurturing environment where children feel valued, respected, and empowered, while also prioritizing their emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth through play-based learning activities. Our safe and inclusive space ensures that every child feels welcome and supported, regardless of background or abilities. Additionally, we blend structured learning with creative exploration to encourage curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning, incorporating activities that promote social-emotional development, language, math, and literacy skills. Through our play-based curriculum, children are exposed to sign language and Spanish, fostering early communication skills and cultural appreciation, which contribute to cognitive development and diversity understanding. We uphold core values of kindness, respect, and inclusion, celebrating diversity and creating a safe space for every child to feel valued and supported.
