I am the mother of two beautiful daughters, Harlow (5), and Josephine (2). They are the inspiration for the start of my daycare. Previous to Home Sweet Home Daycare, I was an early childhood special education teacher for 9 years. I love that I can apply my knowledge of child development from my teaching days into my daycare with my little loves. I also love all things art, and we have so much fun getting messy and creating masterpieces together. Not a day goes by without a dance party either!

Philosophy
At our childcare facility, we believe that little minds need lots of love and a place where they can let their imaginations grow. As a former early childhood special education teacher, we also firmly believe in developmentally appropriate practice and learning through play. Inspired by Anita Wadley’s poem “Just Playing,” we embrace the idea that play is a powerful tool for learning and development. Children are constantly learning through play, whether it’s building in the block room, dressing up, creating art, or engaging in imaginative activities. We understand that play is essential for children as they grow and learn about the world around them. Story time is a daily must, as we value sharing the love of reading and literature with young minds. We strive to prioritize play, nurture individual interests, and create a supportive environment where children can thrive and prepare for their future endeavors.

We’ve provided information about our philosophies and offerings to help you decide if our program may be right for your family.
2. Tour our program
Come see what makes Home Sweet Home Daycare unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/home-sweet-home-daycare-6197/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
