Our Teachers

Erin Davis (MS.Ed, CAS) graduated in 2002 from Molloy College with a BS in Psychology and special education and in 2009 with a Masters in Childhood education and early literacy. Erin has furthered her education by becoming an Autism/Behavior Specialist . After 23 years as a special education teacher in the public schools in NY, NC, and F, she realized she can create a specialized program for students with diverse learning needs and create a one of a kind individualized learning program that fosters independence, school readiness, and social skills.

Philosophy

Our specially designed program follows the structured teaching model which will allow the students to increase independence through structure, visuals, and predictability of routines The curriculum and program will be differentiated and individualized based on each child’s learning needs. It will provide a solid focus on skills needed to be successful in school all while providing sensory, social skills, and hands on learning experiences!

Location

Our Program is a part day, home based micro-school located in the small town of Surf City! We are in a walkable location to stores, a pool and parks. Convenient access from Highway 17 and 210.
