Our Teachers

I have worked with children for many years, including with a public school system as a teacher assistant, as a center service manager, and as an Early HeadStart Specialist with a HeadStart Agency. I am employed by a Christian School, as a second-grade teacher. I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.

Philosophy

My philosophy is to develop the whole child by their ability to understand conversations, stories, songs, and understand simple directions. To use language to communicate ideas, feelings, opinions, and needs. It is my desire to create an environment where each child enrolled in home daycare is safe, protected, and shown love. Also, an environment where children can grow mentally, emotional, and socially.

Location

My program is located in a residential area where it is peaceful and quiet. About three houses down from a local HeadStart/Early Head Start Center, and one block over from the community park.

About our program

Building Foundation Childcare will provide an excellent atmosphere for learning, developing, and belonging. Each child will be respected, loved, and cared for in such a way that they will know and experience the attention given to each of them. Three meals per day will be provided along with a snack after nap time. Outside play will be provided when the weather permits.
