Our Teachers

Cindi is a devoted childcare worker and advocate for children and families in Starkville, her hometown. A proud graduate of Mississippi State University, she made a significant career shift from floral design to childcare, blending her creativity with a nurturing approach to support young lives.

Cindi is actively engaged in her community, previously serving as a Girl Scout leader and supporting initiatives like Starkville Strong. Currently, she dedicates her time to the Starkville Area Autism Support Group, where she aids families navigating the complexities of the Autism spectrum. Passionate about advocacy, Cindi champions Autism Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, and Grief Awareness, especially for widows and young children, as she understands the challenges firsthand after her own children lost their father at a young age.

When Cindi isn’t working or helping out her community, she enjoys spending her free time cheering on the Bulldogs on game days and watching SEC football. She also loves to garden, go on nature walks, and spend time on the water with her family.

Philosophy

At our childcare we believe in fostering a creative yet calm space where we implement a Montessori style environment. Children are seen as capable learners who should be respected as individuals. Classrooms are designed to be inviting and accessible, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. This approach aims to develop not only academic skills but also social, emotional, and practical life skills.

Location

We are located in the Crossgates Subdivision on a tree lined street in a single family home in West Starkville. We are located close to parks, amenities, and other activities. Our outdoor play space has a fenced in backyard that has a covered patio for shade as well as trees for additional shade. There is a dedicated indoor play/learning centers area as well. We’re just a street away from access to Hwy 12 and Hwy 25/82 bypass yet in a peaceful, quiet location.
